Frequently Asked Questions

What resolution are Galaxy S7 wallpapers?

The Galaxy S7 has a 1440x2560 Quad HD display, and Samsung's official stock wallpapers are typically 2560x2560 pixels so they work smoothly with scrolling home screens.

How do I set a wallpaper on a Samsung phone?

Long-press an empty area of the home screen, tap Wallpaper, then choose an image from your gallery or the built-in options. You can apply it to the home screen, the lock screen, or both.

Can I use Galaxy S7 wallpapers on a newer phone?

Yes. High-resolution wallpapers scale down cleanly to any modern phone screen, so these images look sharp on newer Galaxy models and other Android phones too.

Are these the official Samsung stock wallpapers?

Wallpaper galleries for the S7 typically mix Samsung's official stock designs with HD wallpapers created for the phone's display. If you specifically want the originals, check each image's source before downloading.
