The Future of Sports

Sports Advertising Photographer Tim Tadder, and renowned GGi/digital artist Mike Campau teamed up yet again, this time on personal project, to create a unique sports series. Both artists explored sport in nearly every facet throughout their careers and decided it was time spin it completely differently.

In order to create a collection of images that were not buried in cliches, Tim and Mike decided to create images voyeuring a new age of the genre.

Tim shot the talent in studio, carefully crafting lighting to match playing landscapes and props that were in fact to to be illuminated, all the while capturing the essence of sport in the movements of the athletes. Mike then created the environments and props cgi to match the same lighting and energy. Once the elements were all combined with effects and color grading, the team had a winner of a series.
